Education Support Professionals keep students healthy, safe, supported, engaged and challenged so they are ready to learn. It is difficult to imagine a school operating for one day without ESPs.

 

 

WHO: All MTA Education Support Professionals and their Supporters
WHAT: MTA ESP Conference
WHERE: Hotel 1620, Plymouth, Mass.
WHEN: March 31 to April 1
COST: $30 per person when you register by March 6, then the rate goes up to $45

WHY: The MTA ESP Conference is a weekend of professional development, networking and fun.

Workshops will include Retirement 101; LGBTQ+ Engagement; ESP Engagement in Governance; Mindfulness; Classroom Management; MCAS; Higher Ed legislation; Talking about Race; ESP only Next Generation Leadership Program; and more.

Members will have the opportunity to make personal appointments during the conference with MTA CEPP staff regarding licensure and MTA Retiree Consultants regarding their retirement plans. 
 
Early morning Zumba and a DJ-ed event will also return at this year's conference.

The MTA’s preK-12 Education Support Professionals play critically important roles in our public schools, providing individual and small-group instruction to students with disabilities, assisting in early education classes, supporting English learners, driving buses, preparing meals, keeping schools clean and performing myriad administrative and education support functions.
